Important Clinic Information
To ensure efficient service, please do not come to the clinic without a scheduled appointment.
As a solo practice, you’ll consistently see the same doctor for your care. We specialize in family medicine, offering comprehensive, lifelong healthcare for individuals and families, from birth onwards.
Reaching Us by Phone:
- For urgent matters, acute illnesses, or test results – Call between 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM daily to speak directly with a doctor. Please avoid using this time for routine bookings or prescription refills.
- For appointments and prescription renewals: Our secretary is available from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Kindly specify the reason for your visit so we can allocate the correct amount of time.
Scheduling Consultations:
Doctor or medical student consultations must be booked in advance. For routine check-ups (e.g., pregnancy, child health examination, chronic disease management like diabetes or hypertension) and medical certificates, please schedule 3-4 weeks ahead. Appointments are available from 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM on most days, and 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM on Wednesdays.
Cancellation Policy:
If you can’t make your appointment, please cancel so others can use the time.
Acute Issues:
We generally offer same-day appointments for acute problems. These visits focus solely on the urgent concern and are best arranged by calling between 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM.
Waiting Times:
We strive to minimize your wait. Please arrive on time. However, due to the nature of our work with urgent and crisis situations, delays can occur. If you cannot wait, inform reception to reschedule.
Test Results:
It is your responsibility to obtain all test results (e.g., blood work, Pap smears). You can schedule a follow-up, receive results via email, or call us.
Referrals:
Referrals to specialists (hospitals, physiotherapists, psychologists, etc.) require a clinic consultation and are issued at your doctor’s discretion. You do not need a referral for eye doctors or ear, nose and throat specialists.
House Calls:
House calls are made only when deemed medically necessary by the doctor and are arranged by calling from 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM.
After-Hours Care:
For medical assistance after 4:00 PM, weekends, and national holidays, call 1813.
Digital Communication:
Please use ‘selvbetjening’ or the app ‘Min Læge’. Here you can book appointments, renew prescriptions, or email us for non-urgent inquiries. Emails are answered within 5 days. Test results can be sent via email.
Your Yellow Card:
Always bring your “Sygesikringsbevis/Sundhedskort” (yellow card) to your appointment and swipe it upon arrival.
Payment:
Most services are free for those with a Danish CPR number, covered by the National Health Insurance. Specific rules apply to Nordic and EU citizens. Services like travel advice, vaccinations, and many certificates are not covered and require payment. If you lack a CPR number or a blue EU medical insurance card, consultations are chargeable.
